Summer is right around the corner and with it comes the temptation to switch off and tune out of work. As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, it can be difficult to stay focused on work tasks and maintain engagement. In fact, according to a study by Captive Network, workplace productivity drops 20% in the summer months.

When you’re at work, you’re on your computer. When you’re at home, you’re on your phone. In-between, you’re connected to your car’s Bluetooth listening to true crime podcasts or that random “moody mix” that Spotify customizes just for you every day (Okay, maybe that last part is just me). The truth of the matter is that we are very much in the digital age, with our noses always in a screen.

Teachers are pretty dang incredible. From caring for our youngest community members to educating the bright minds of the future, our teachers do a whole lot every single day.

The sun is out, the birds are chirping, and spring is officially springing. Well, at least in parts of the world that are luckier than Michigan. While it might still be a little drab up here in the Midwest, us at Baudville can feel the spring season slowly budding to the surface. So, what does that mean for us? Well, it means the beginning to a season full of recognition, appreciation, and growth for our company culture.
