Whether your organization runs primarily off the work and energy of volunteers, or your volunteers supplement and support your regular staff, they’re an essential piece of what you do.

Are you operating on the buddy system? You probably have at least one friend at work, but would you go so far as to say a “best” friend?

“How do I love thee? / Let me count the ways.” Ok, so maybe we shouldn’t be as passionate as Elizabeth Barret Browning in Sonnet 43, but we DO love our Administrative Professionals, and we’re about to count the ways.

What makes a great leader? Think on that for a minute. 

Is it someone who is strong? A “natural”? Good at public speaking? Outspoken? Good with conflict management? 

There are a lot of different ideas floating around about what makes a great leader. And really, most are subjective. 

Dictionary.com defines a leader as “a person who rules, guides, or inspires others; head.”
