A few weeks ago, a team of Baudvillians packed their bags and headed down to New Orleans to join thousands of HR Professionals from around the world for the SHRM 2017 Annual Conference & Expo.  We bumped shoulders with employee engagement experts, retention professionals, and recruiting wizzes.

We rely so much on technology these days, we’d be lost without those who fix it when things go haywire.

Affirmation, of course. Are you giving enough feedback, or are you leaving your employees starving for it? 

Ahh. It’s finally summer vacation season. The sun is shining, the beaches are picturesque, and the margaritas are flowing. This should be sweet relief for the 60% of American employees who report they feel stressed at least three workdays per week. But alas, work emails and urgent projects tend to keep professionals from taking full advantage of summer paid time off.

Look around most workspaces. Most likely you’ll see certificates hung on the walls, awards decorating desktops, and notes pinned up on cubicle walls—all representing a proud moment for the person displaying it.
