Look around most workspaces. Most likely you’ll see certificates hung on the walls, awards decorating desktops, and notes pinned up on cubicle walls—all representing a proud moment for the person displaying it.

If someone were to ask you what your company invests in, what would that list entail? The latest technology? A state-of-the art facility? Nap pods and an out-of-this-world cafeteria? Millennials are taking over the working industry, with over one in three American workers today being a part of this demographic. But this young talent pool is looking for a different corporate culture than how we have traditionally looked at the workplace. Long gone is the idea that people should be grateful to work somewhere.
