More than 250 New Products Will Bring Positive Mojo to your 2014!

The turn of the new year is a time for making fresh starts, gaining new perspectives, and setting strategic goals for the months to come. And, we have a wealth of new products (more than 250, actually!) to help you kick off your year right. What have you resolved to do this year?

Have More Fun. This may seem like an unusual goal, but, knowing that happy employees are 31% more productive, fun should be a priority on everyone's list. I'm not necessarily talking about goofing off, though I have made a pretty good case for it in the past...but more about adding more light-heartedness, joy, and humor to our days. We developed the Positively Awesome theme for exactly this purpose. It's impossible not to smile when you're giving these bright and happy employee gifts.

Try Something Different. I'm not talking about Cronuts (though I could probably spend an entire day talking about them...), but I am talking about all-new looks. Like glitter. And PVC. And magnets. And springs. These might not be new to the world, but they are new to lapel pins—and since those haven't changed in about 150 years, this is pretty exciting news. Out of all of our new designs, Success Magnets™ are the ones I'm most excited about. Learn Something New. We know that it can be tough finding fresh and affordable ways to engage and motivate your team, so we conjured up the Idea Genie to help. The 2013 Year-End Party Wrap-Up: Leg Warmers, Giveaways, Awards & More!

Last Friday (the 13th - yikes!!) we celebrated 2013 at our annual Baudville Year-End Party. This was my 8th foray into the year-end festivities. I speak from experience when I say of all the parties at the 'ville throughout the year, this is the one you don't want to miss; it's filled with great prizes, good food, lots of laughs, and of course some sincere recognition and appreciation. And this year did not disappoint! Here are some highlights:

Baudville is no ordinary place to work – we drop our executives into dunk tanks, pour our hearts into philanthropic ventures together, and wear jeans for a good cause. For these reasons, our team members are no plain Janes or even Stevens either – they're super stellar rock stars! Get to know them one-by-one and we're certain you'll agree.

What do you do here at Baudville?
I'm Sara Vreeland and I am an accounting clerk primarily specializing in accounts payables, but I have worn other hats at Baudville in the past.

What's your favorite part about your job?
I actually like the sorting, matching, and prioritizing of the paperwork (I know...I'm weird). I also like solving the mysteries and puzzles that come my way. Most people think that accounting is the same ole thing every day, but there are new puzzles and mysteries to solve and resolve every day.

What is something that none of your coworkers know about you?
I have no idea...I read... 2 to 3 books a week? Oh also, in the 1950's, my father work at the CIA (not as an agent or anything...he worked in the communications department in Washington D.C.).

Do you have any pets? Tells us a little bit about them.
Yes, we have 2 cats, Bill & Bennie. Bennie name was easy, but Bill's was named Q-Tip first (he's all white), but that just didn't seem right and we went through about 4 other names until we got to Bill...It seems to fit.

What's your favorite app?
Candy Crush...I've been sucked in, hook, line, & sinker!

What Smart Saying best represents you?
I Work With Super Heroes". I know we don't save lives or anything like that, but I am ALWAYS amazed at the lengths that the people I work with go to make sure our customers get the best shopping experience ever. From the people who make our computer system run its best, the product dreamers, designers and purchasers, the customer service representatives, the warehouse staff, and everyone in between, our customers are always number 1 and we'll do whatever it takes to keep it that way!

What do you do here at Baudville?
I'm Cassie and I'm a Key Account Representative, responsible for taking care of our customers by building relationships and making sure they have an amazing experience!

What's your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about my job are the volunteer opportunities I've had over the years, we've been able to take part in helping build a Habitat for Humanity home, a KaBoom playground, and most recently were able to take part in helping build the one of a kind sensory trail at the EQuest Center for Therapeutic Riding.

What is your favorite day here at the Ville?
Favorite day at Baudville is hands down the Year End Party!!! It's a GUARANTEED blast!

What was your favorite vacation or favorite vacation place?
One of the best vacations I've ever been on was when I went to Mexico. We stayed outside of Cancun with family, in the most beautiful house that had marble floors and a marble staircase, an on-suite in every room. It was gorgeous! We rode the city bus, and experienced life outside of the tourist district. We drove the coast of Puerto Vallarta in a bright green convertible 1970's Volkswagen beetle.

What's your favorite app?
Candy Crush...I've been sucked in, hook, line, & sinker!
