1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her life.  That’s 12% of the population!  Millions of families are affected by this tragic statistic.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Baudville is getting involved in this important cause with a week-long company fundraising event.

Although some people say the art of gift giving has fallen by the wayside in our fast-paced lives, I say not so! Lots of managers, companies, and coworkers give meaningful, memorable gifts to employees during the holiday season. 

One of my favorite parts of the HR and employee recognition industries is networking with other professionals and learning from their experiences and best practices. For our company, Customer Service Week is a celebration of ALL employees’ contributions to the customer experience. We understand that just because you don’t speak to a customer doesn’t mean you don’t influence their impression of Baudville. Marketing, packing, purchasing, accounting – all the departments at Baudville play important roles making sure customers find and get the right products.

I focused on themes for Customer Service Week because that is always the first place we start with our event planning. The theme sets the tone for the entire event and serves as the guideline for your decision making. However, coming up with a creative theme can be the hardest part, so I’ve compiled five of my favorite ideas for this year.
