Where would we be without administrative professionals? I would probably be the most hated human being in the office: constantly breaking the copier and double-booking meetings.  I’m willing to bet that many others would find themselves in a similar predicament.  This is precisely why we all should make Administrative Professional’s Day a BIG deal.   And what better way to show your appreciation on Wednesday than with a potluck style thank you feast?!

I recently found myself chuckling at an Inc article that featured photos of 10 startup offices around the world.  It wasn’t the nap net or the ball pit meeting room that struck me funny, it was the concept that companies are investing more time and even more money into creating an attractive work environment in hopes to lure top talent.  And I 100% believe this strategy works.

Whether they’re off organizing fundraisers for your school, visiting with elderly patients or acting as crowd control at a charity event, volunteers are some of the most essential pieces of any organization.  They are selfless with their time and generous with their resources; they’re pretty much the bee’s knees!
