As a manager at Baudville, I find that one of the great things that we do is have off-site activities and meetings as a group.

I have a love/hate relationship with my Fitbit.

I love it on the days when I’m rocking out on my steps. I hate it on the days when I look at it at 3:00pm, and I barely have 2,000 steps.

I’m definitely not one of those people who end up with hundreds of hours of unused vacation time at the end of the year. I make sure that those hours are meticulously used throughout the year, with most of it used for holidays.

Over the last few years as my kids have gotten older, I’m now able to sit and read a book with little disruption. I’ve always had a soft spot for romance books that don’t have any real meat to them, allowing myself to drift away for a few hours in an easy-to-read story. After a long day at the office or a full day of weekend chores, you just don’t feel like reading something heavy or thought-provoking.

July is one of my favorite months of the year, and it's literally disappearing in a blink of an eye! I keep finding myself thinking that my boys are going to be back in school before I know it. My oldest, Jackson, is going into 6th grade and my youngest, Michael, is going to be a big first grader. It's beyond my comprehension!
