At Baudville, we’ve pretty much become experts at planning events. We hold several throughout the year, from wellness challenges, to picnics, to special appreciation days, to year-end parties. With all this practice, every year we get a little smarter and a lot better!

Summer is upon us, the heat is on and the sun is out! It may be hard to keep your team motivated at work when they want to be hanging out at the beach and, well, not working. So here are my top boards to help you with a daily dose of fun at work to keep them engaged and motivated throughout the summer!

I have 4 little boys at home. I am surrounded underfoot by trains, trucks, tractors, and superheroes. We race, we crash, and we rescue on a daily basis. Although we’re making up these scenarios as we scoot across the kitchen floor, when I’m seated at my desk here at work there’s also a lot of racing, crashing, and rescuing happening on a daily basis.

I'm often jealous of the amazing shoe collection Allison has. For every adorable outfit, she has a matching pair of shoes to go with it. I, on the other hand, tend to lean towards the same pair of shoes, as long as they match, regardless of my outfit. Every morning I stare into my closet at my racks of shoes, and think maybe today I'll venture out. Then I grab the same black flats...

 This is a little embarrassing, but, since it happened several years ago, I think I can claim a statute of limitations on it. It was during a holiday party, and we were at the point in the evening when our leadership was announcing our year-end award winners. I felt I was having a banner year, and was more than half expecting to be recognized for it. As the speaker described the contributions and achievements of the soon-to-be awardee, I became more confident that within moments I would be up there shaking hands and posing for photos. Maybe a speech? No, that would be too much. I was so sure, my butt was about two inches out of my chair in anticipation that I would need to stand. Any minute.
