Many of us wear a lot of different hats throughout the day here at Baudville. Lisa is no stranger to multi-tasking and with some recent new hires in her department, she has had to put on her trainer’s hat, as well! Her manager, Lindsey saw how hard Lisa was working to train, keep up on her current workload, and all the while doing it with a smile!

In my professional life, I have experienced a number of culture/position fit fiascos, only one of which was my own (and one I’d really rather not tell you about). But, I have no problem telling you about some of the ones I’ve witnessed over the years…

In a previous post, I talked about a company one of my friends works for that is struggling to engage its employees in the face of a culture that isn’t necessarily interested in playing along. Our first thought was to find some recognition solutions that might be more palatable to their employees than their current efforts. You can read those ideas here.

At the start of 2015, I welcomed my six-year anniversary, which, as I mentioned in a previous post, was a pretty big deal for me. In addition to it being a record as far as job longevity goes, I also got a really sweet anniversary gift.
