Customer Service Week is October 3-7 – only 3 weeks away! But there’s still plenty of time for you to plan a celebration for your team that will leave them feeling appreciated, valued, and committed to the organization. At Baudville, we plan an activity or event for every day of Customer Service Week, so we have a lot of experience putting together celebrations! Here are our seven tips for planning this year’s celebration: 

1. Ask Your Team for Input.
Get your team involved to ensure you events are a hit. I recommend putting together a small team dedicated to planning the Customer Service Week celebration. You’ll receive first hand feedback from your staff on their favorite ways to celebrate, plus you’ll be able to delegate tasks. So when Customer Service Week rolls around, the entire company joins in the festivities! (This year Customer Service Week is October 3-7!) A team of employees, our Spirit Team, plans a week of activities to celebrate our dedication to excellent customer service. Everyone partakes in games, themed dress up days, and a team lunch. Employees are typically treated to a gift, too, and our Twist Top Tumblers have become a staff favorite! 

August is here which means kids will be heading back to school very shortly! Start the year off right by welcoming back teachers, students, and staff with a small gift and welcome celebration. We’ve compiled our top ten choices for back to school gifts to make your planning easier! 

I just attended a couple of creative writing workshops in one of my favorite places to visit: New York City! When I enrolled, I wasn’t totally sure what I would get out of the experience. I had done my research and found that the school had a great reputation; but it also seemed from the reviews that overall student satisfaction had more to do with the individual instructors than anything. Of course, I hoped I would get good ones.  

Despite a little hesitation, I was excited about the workshops and, like a big nerd, actually giddy about being given a homework assignment to complete before one of the workshops started.
